Don't use "most" to manipulate

Stop and think twice whenever you find yourself using "most" to omit some information in order to strengthen a point you are making.

In fact, you should avoid using "most" in this context unless it's reasonably easy for your reader to validate that the omitted information doesn't diminish the point you are making. Otherwise, educated and astute readers will notice what you are doing, and the credibility you set out to build will crumble.
