Enough of Advent of Code for now
I couldn't figure Day 24 part 2 out and might have spent a bit too much time on it even when I was already tired — fixing that is probably a good item on resolution for 2025.
Advent of Code was great fun and I've learned a lot though! I did that by TDD and it's always immensely satisfying to see all the puzzle pieces fall in into place almost magically (*cough+, at least when I was reading properly).
One thing that I hadn't realised until the last couple of days is that there is an active community on Reddit for the Advent of Code. The memes there are great and are fantastic additions to the experience. I was pretty bummed out about not being able to finish this year's Advent of Code on Christmas Day, but the Reddit comment that says Advent of Code "is the Dark Souls for devs" made me feel a lot better. :p Will definitely be following the fun on Reddit in 2025 if I attempt it again next year!
