Good user experience in PC building
My PC's PSU died today. While taking apart my computer to prepare for the replacement, I noticed some thoughtful design features (again) that made the process much more fun and less frustrating than it could have been:
- The PSU mounting screws are attached to the unit itself so that you won't lose them.
- The glass side panel's screw holes are lined with silicone for secure mounting, so that I don't have to stress about misplacing O-rings.
- The case interior is engineered for cable management, which has both built-in clips and well-placed holes for cable ties (the velcro ones are great!).
- All dust filters are magnetic and can be easily removed for cleaning on a regular basis.
Meanwhile, we can't even have font sizes that don't strain your eyes on some high-profile websites by default. :(
