Here, I re-made this

Three years ago I built this personal website so that I would write more often.

Evidently, I didn't.

I was unemployed at the time and would find my first job as a software engineer shortly afterwards. Instead of using it as the source of inspiration for writing more, it became the source of excuses for not writing.

At some point not writing became a source of agony: it was a promise to myself that I failed to deliver — day after day, month after month, year after year. A spiral of irrationality.

It doesn't matter now! Yesterday's mistake is today's gift:
