Reach out and listen first

Someone who appears to be going about doing things in an unkind way may not actually be an unkind person.

Reach out and listen to what they have to say before passing judgement — especially if you are going to write a few thousand words calling someone out, while turning off comments to avoid engaging with the person you are passing judgment on.
